Safety and Health Management
Holtek’s safety and health management is based on the framework of the OHSAS 18001:2006 system (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), and adheres to the management principle to prevent accidents and protect employees’ safety and health as well as Company assets. For accident prevention, the Company has established related safety and health training to protect the lives of employees and contractors while disasters occur, as well as to minimize the negative impact on employees and the environment.
Holtek appoints security professionals to well-guarded 24 hours a day. Surveillance cameras have been set to monitor each of the entrances and all corners of the building. For protecting people and property, the Company strengthens security management during nighttime and on weekends.
- Holtek appoints manufacturers to maintain and repair fire-fighting equipment (for example: fire alarms, fire extinguishers) and appoints exclusive personnel to check records regularly to identify any problems with equipment.
- Holtek conducts major annual emergency response exercises and evacuation drills for carrying out a corporate-wide fire risk mitigation project focused on responsibility of fire protection.
For keeping good quality of drinking water and employees’ health, Holtek appoints manufacturers to sample and check-up the fecal coliform bacteria in the drinking water machine. The clean-up and sterilization operations have been taken regularly to maintain tidiness and cleanliness of employees’ working environment.
4.Employee’ medical checkups：
Holtek entrusts medical institutions to carry out medical checkups regularly on its employees every year. Healthcare professional is appointed to provide healthcare service. The Company also regularly holds sanitary seminars and provides employees with health consultation services once every two months.
