Basic Information
Question 1
What are the pairing decoders for HT6P20x2 series?
Answer
The HT6P20x2 series, featured with more address and data bits, are dedicated for sophisticated remote control system which
requires additional control functions. In general, MCUs are used in these applications for control purposes and for cost and space considerations, the decoder
function is also accomplished in the MCU program. There is no dedicated decoder devices for HT6P20x2 series. Users can refer to the datasheet for the encoder format and implement the decoder function in the
MCU.
Question 2
What is the difference between the HT6P20X2T3 and HT6P20x2?
Answer
The HT6P20X2T3, does not require an external resistor to adjust the bit width and also contains an integrated RF transmitter, which reduces the need for an external power transistor and SAW resonator.
Application Description
Question 1
The HT6P20x2 has no fixed address, so how can it decode?
Answer
Please consult the "Application
notes" under the "Technical
Support" section of the website for an example program.
Points to Note
Question 1
How can code be burnt into the HT6P20x2 ?
Answer
The code in the HT6P20x2 device is burnt during the manufacturing process, so users don't have to burn the code. However, a learning code feature in the decoder end is required to read the transmitted code address from the HT6P20x2.
