Basic Information

Question 1

What is the core of the HT32F125x series MCUs?

Answer

The HT32F125x series MCUs use an ARM® Cortex™-M3 as a core which is specifically suitable for high performance and low power 32-bit microcontroller.

Question 2

What is the maximum operating frequency in the HT32F125x series MCUs? What are the operating voltage and temperature ranges?

Answer

The maximum operating frequency can be up to 72MHz. The operating voltage is 2.7V~3.6V with single power supply and meets the industrial temperature range of -40℃~85℃.

Question 3

What part numbers do the HT32F125x series MCUs include?

Answer

There are four part numbers included in the HT32F125x series MCUs, the HT32F1251B, HT32F1251, HT32F1252 and HT32F1253. The difference lies in their memory sizes and pin numbers. For functions and descriptions, see the datasheets for details.

Question 4

What pins does the HT32F1251B lack?

Answer

The HT32F1251B MCU does not include VBAT, XTAL32KIN and XTAL32KOUT pins, which means no support for the LSE (Low Speed External) clock and battery backup functions.

Question 5

How many power-on modes do the HT32F125x series MCUs support?

Answer

The HT32F125x series MCUs support three power-on modes defined as shown in the following table.

Note: VMCB[1:0] in the HT32F125x FMC indicates the Vector Mapping Control Bit. The reset value of VMCB depends on the BOOT1 pin and BOOT0 pin status when a power on reset or system reset occurs.

Question 6

How long does it take for the power on reset in the HT32F125x series MCUs?

Answer

It takes about 560 uS for the first power on reset until the program starts operating in the HT32F125x series MCUs, including LDO Ready and HIS Ready.

Question 1

What is the accuracy of the 12-bit ADC in the HT32F125x series MCUs? What is the sampling time? How long does it take to convert?

Answer

The ADC accuracy is listed in the table below.

The Sampling time can be adjusted by the program ranging within 1.5ADCLK+(0~255)ADCLK.

The conversion time is Tconv =Sampling time + 12. 5ADCLK,
Ex. CK_ADC (ADCLK)= 14 MHz
Sampling time =1.5ADCLK:
Tconv = 1.5ADCLK + 12. 5ADCLK = 14ADCLK = 1 μs

Points to Note

Question 1

Is there any development board for the HT32F125x series MCUs?

Answer

The HT32F125x series MCUs provide a complete suit of development board on which some peripherals (Flash, EEPROM, Buzzer etc.) together with example programs assist users in the understanding of the HT32F125x functions.

Question 2

How do I manage unused I/O pins in the HT32F125x series MCUs?

Answer

It is recommended to set the unused I/O pins to an input mode and disable the input function so as to prevent external signal interference.
