HT95A/HT95L/HT95C telephone controller series

Holtek semiconductor has now formally released its new series of telephone controllers, providing related designers and customers with a new range of telephone control solutions. The devices subdivide into 3 categories, the HT95A I/O telephone controller device, the HT95L LCD type telephone controller and the HT95C CID telephone controller. Each category is divided according to the level of its internal resources, however each category has the choice of either OTP or Mask device, providing the user with the necessary options for both their low volume and high volume requirements.

With their internal ROM/RAM memory, interrupts, power down and wake-up features as well as their flexible pin shared LCD pin arrangement and dual operating frequency modes as well as two modes of power down, internal dialer I/O etc, the devices have the features and flexibility to meet the needs of a wide range of telephone related equipment.

In addition to the products mentioned above, because the range of telephone controllers is equipped with substantially more resources than the standard range of MCUs, the needs of other communication devices such as small/medium PBXs, communication systems, intelligent building management systems, and other consumer and home appliance devices can all be met by these new Holtek telephone controllers. The provision of OTP devices permits evaluation samples and small volume runs to be produced, meeting the demands of low time to market constraints. Mask devices are available for high volume product runs providing a means of increasing further the competitive advantages of caller ID telephone related products.
