Holtek Releases New HT8972 Voice Echo Device

Over the years Holtek has accumulated much experience in the Voice Echo market and technology, and is now delighted to release the latest offering in this range, the HT8972. This device contains 40 KB of SRAM memory, in contrast to its previous device, the HT8970, which contained 20 KB of SRAM. This increased memory provides smoother sounding voice echo effects and gives improved signal to noise ratio performance.

With four integrated Operational Amplifiers and internal AD and DA converters, the need for external components and their subsequent cost and space requirements is largely reduced, increasing their competitive advantages. The HT8972 comes in 16-pin DIP and SOP package types, and as it is fully pin compatible with its predecessor HT8970 device, existing customers and users can rapidly upgrade their existing products as well as new customers having the means for easy development of new products.
