New Product Release – Dual Slope A/D – HT46R74D-1

The HT46R74D-1, as a new Dual Slope A/D type 8-bit OTP MCU, has a specification which includes 4K of OTP Program Memory, 96 bytes of Data Memory as well as an 18-bit timer, an 8-bit timer and an RTC timer. Included also is a Buzzer/PFD output function pin. There are a total of 10 I/O pins, with wake-up function and among which are two pins, which can be setup as external interrupt pins. Additionally the fully integrated internal LCD driver circuit can drive a 60-pixel LCD panel. The integrated dual slope analog to digital converter, integrated within the HT46R74D-1 device, will see extensive usage in ADC measurement systems. This internal ADC includes fully integrated operational amplifier, voltage follower, integrator and comparator circuits. The HT46R74D-1 also includes a double voltage Charge Pump circuit and a 3.3V output voltage regulator. To offer good noise and low voltage protection, an internal Watchdog timer and LVD/LVR – Low Voltage Detect/Low Voltage Reset – functions are also included. With these useful features, the HT46R74D-1 finds an excellent application niche in 2.2V~3V battery systems. With the addition of a only a small number of external capacitors and resistors, the device can offer full signal amplifier and external transducer signal detect capabilities. The HT46R74D-1 meets with industrial specifications, and is especially suitable for use in measurement system applications which utilise bridge type sensors, such as those used for the external measurement of pressure, temperature, humidity etc. Possible application areas could be those of scales, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, humidity meters etc. The HT4674D-1 also includes an OTP partial lock function, a feature which is useful in applications where it is necessary to measure and store calibration data, and a feature which eliminates the need for an external EEPROM device. When compared with other presently available similar devices, the HT4674D-1 offers superiority and advantages in the essential and important areas of both functionality and cost. Regarding packaging, the device is available in a 56SSOP package type. Sample devices are available for customer evaluation and orders are presently being accepted for volume production.
