New Product Release -- HT38A5 and HT3834

The announcement of two new additions to the range of Holtek Music MCUs in the form of the HT38A5 and HT3834 further extends the range of applications for standard products based around the HT36 device body. Suitable for a wide range of musically based products, a few applications to mention could be ringtones, doorbells, music boxes, musical broadcasting products, etc.

Similar to the HT36 Music MCU series, the HT38A5 and HT3834 devices, include a high audio quality 16-bit DAC, which when added to its multi-channel music processor circuit and high quality sound timbre sampling, when compared with other general music ICs provide incomparable sound effects.

The HT38A5 includes 12 internal lively ringtones while the HT3834 includes 36 music box sounds. The two devices provides both CPU and manual application modes. The CPU mode interface is simple to apply can easily be connected to other products for control of broadcasting, stop function, musical selection, volume control as well as other control functions. The HT3834 also incorporates a PWM controlled colour LED function, whose outputs can be simultaneously modulated along with the musical broadcast to give rainbow colour effects.
