New Product Release - Cost Effective I/O MCU --- HT48R062/HT48C062 October
31, 2006 Holtek is delighted to present two new additions to its cost-effective range of microcontrollers in the form of a new OTP device, the
HT48R062 and a new Mask version device, the
HT48C062. Specifications are similar in that they both contain 1K of Program Memory, 32 bytes of Data Memory, 11 I/O pins, full power-down and wake-up functions, as well as a watchdog timer and low voltage reset functions etc. The oscillator circuit includes the choice between an external RC or crystal type and the working voltage of the device has a range of 2.2V to 5.5V. To summarise, the
HT48R062 and HT48C062, although being a highly cost competitive device, still contains a comprehensive range of MCU functions.
Both devices fully conform to industry specifications, and are especially suitable for use in application areas such as household appliances as well as other applications, which require a small scale controller device. Such applications might include products such as battery chargers, small toy controllers or small scale kitchen appliances etc. Both devices, one of which is an OTP device and the other a Mask version type, are fully compatible in terms of functionality, characteristics, pin-outs and packaging. In meeting the needs of today's market for cost competitive devices, using a combination of the
HT48R062 and HT48C062 will provide superiority in both areas of development and cost. The device comes packaged in 16-pin DIP and NSOP package types. Presently Holtek can accept requests for customer samples and production orders.
