Holtek HT46R75D-3 Dual Slope A/D type MCU with Touch Keys
10/31/2011
Holtek takes pleasure in announcing its new 8-bit OTP dual slope A/D type MCU, the HT46R75D-3. With internal touch-key functions as well as a wide range of other peripheral functions, this new device is especially suitable for the processing of analog signals from bridge sensor applications such as scales, pressure gauges, thermometers, humidity meters, tyre pressure gauges etc.
The HT46R75D-3 contains 8K of OTP Program Memory, 192 bytes of Data Memory, two 16-bit timers and one 8-bit timer together with a Buzzer output, up to 22 I/O pins, an external wake up and interrupt touch functions. The internal LCD driver circuit can drive LCD panels of up to 192 pixels. Central to the device is its dual slope A/D converter, a function which is widely used in measuring systems and which includes an amplifier, voltage follower, integrator, comparator, charge-pump and 3.3V output regulator. In addition, the device includes four touch-key functions and an external vibration sensor amplifier circuit. This combination of features provides an ideal solution for measuring applications which require touch key and vibration switch functions. The internal Watchdog, Low Voltage Detect and Low Voltage Reset functions, offer excellent safeguards and protection against low system voltages and noisy electrical environments.
Complementing Holtek's range of MCU devices is a comprehensive suite of hardware and software tools in the form of the HT-IDE3000 development system. Features such as real time emulation, memory/register modification, hardware execution breakpoints, trace analysers etc, are all standard features of the system, and all of which add together to provide designers with all the tools they need for rapid and efficient product application development and debug.
