New Holtek LCD Function Product Release HT46CU66 A/D MCU

Meeting with industry specifications, the new Holtek HT46CU66 includes 16Kx16 Mask Program Memory and 576 Bytes of Data Memory. The integrated LCD Driver provides 46x4 Pixel outputs and together with its 32 I/O pins, this new device is suitable for a range of input/output control applications, such as those requiring external key control, direct drive of LED panels and control external switching components such as Triacs, Relays etc. The HT46CU66 includes a 12-bit resolution A/D converter function, which can work in conjunction with external sensors such as those for voltage, current, temperature etc. to measure external analog signals. The included 8-bit PWM output, and its internal register can directly control the PWM Duty Cycle, and offers convenient PWM control. The PWM output can be used in areas such as temperature control, voltage and current control etc. Additionally, the integrated hardware UART function is a dual synchronous type, whose Baud Rate can be setup using software, and automatic error detection flag functions. Using this UART and the other system for data transfer, can reduce software overheads and obtain maximum efficiency from the other microcontroller functions.
The HT46CU66 also provides the following functions: RTC (Real Time Clock), Port A Wake-up Option, dual 16-bit Timers, single 8-bit Timer, PFD (Programmable Frequency Divider) for frequency generation, Buzzer Driver Output function which can directly drive audio components, LVR(Low Voltage Reset) and LVD(Low Voltage Detector) functions etc.
Similar to other Holtek devices, this new device includes a high noise immunity Holtek 8-bit MCU, which together with its Watchdog timer and LVR function minimise the risk of any erroneous operation . The device is supplied in 52-pin QFP, 56-pin SSOP and 100-pin QFP package types, and is suitable for use in applications which require a display such as household appliances, exercise equipment, medical equipment and industrial control application areas.
