Holtek HT7465/HT7466 New 2 or 3 Amp Step-down DC/DC Converter

Holtek is now delighted to announce its new 2 or 3 ampere step-down DC/DC converter devices, the HT7465 and HT7466. With a maximum input voltage of 24V, the devices provide for a wide application range while their conversion efficiency of up to 93% significantly reduce the system power consumption. These highly integrated step-down DC/DC solutions include a low impedance power transistor, a fixed 380 KHz PWM control circuit, which when combined with a low ESR multi-layer ceramic capacitor, can provide a simple DC/DC step-down solution. Protection functions such as soft start, OTP, OCP and UVLO provide the system and the devices with a high degree of protection capabilities.

The HT7465 and HT7466 devices are suitable for use in a wide range of various DC/DC step-down converter applications, such as communication products, battery chargers, set-top boxes, DVD players etc. that require high to low voltage conversion.
