Holtek HT72BXX and HT78BXX New High PSRR LDO

Holtek is pleased to announce the release of its new high PSRR LDO series devices, the HT72BXX and HT78BXX. Having a respective output current of 300mA and 500mA, they use industry leading technology to provide a specification that has only 18µA of current consumption and an excellent performance PSRR rating of up to 70dB. The maximum input voltage is 7.0V which is higher than that of most other LDO devices. Both ranges have line regulation of 0.02%/V while the load regulation of the HT72BXX and the HT78BXX is respectively 14mV and 33mV. The dropout voltage for both ranges is 340mV and 640mV respectively at an output current of 300mA and 500mA. Internal protection functions include short circuit protection, current limiting protection and over temperature protection providing the devices with a high degree of protection capabilities.

The HT72BXX and HT78BXX Low Dropout regulator devices are all fabricated using CMOS technology and have a fixed output voltage range of 1.5V~5V. With their advantage of high PSRR and low power consumption, the devices are especially suitable for battery-powered products for the imaging, voice and wireless etc applications areas. A wide selection of part numbers and package types are available for increased application flexibility.
