New Music Series MCU releases - HT36F2, HT36F6, HT36FA, HT36A1, HT36M4 August
17, 2005 Holtek is pleased to announce a major enhancement to its Music MCU range with the release of five new devices. These new devices, the
HT36F2, HT36F6,
HT36FA, HT36A1
and the HT36M4, now provide designers with an even greater choice for different music product application areas.
By combining the programming flexibility and features of a high performance 8-bit microcontroller, which when combined with wave table sampling techniques, Holtek has ensured the devices achieve high standards of CD quality sound. Internally, one or two high quality stereo 16-bit DACs and an abundant supply of I/O pins creates a device with multi functions that is sure to meet the demands of a huge range of music products and applications. Differing from the usual methods of music simulation, these devices in the Music MCU range all use wave table sampling techniques, which together with enhanced circuit techniques allows user to choose from lower cost 4 channel devices to full function 16 channel devices. These channels can be output simultaneously while still maintaining the original sound quality of each channel. These features combined with the excellent inherent sound quality makes the device extremely suitable for applications such as electronic keyboards, high sound quality music players, electronic music boxes etc.
