Holtek’s New HT66F24D / HT66F25D Enhanced A/D Flash Type MCU with High Current LED Driver Device Series
Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new HT66F24D / HT66F25D Enhanced A/D Flash Type MCU. As the device range is a High Current LED Driver device series it includes I/O pins with a maximum sink Current of up to 80mA. All devices meet with full industrial specifications (-40℃~85℃) and have high noise immunity. All of these devices include an area of non-volatile EEPROM memory which can be used to save data such as product parameters or manufacturing data which will still be retained even when the power is removed. This feature can greatly improve product flexibility.
These new devices have a Program Memory capacity of 2~4K Words, an SRAM Data Memory capacity of 96~192 bytes and a 64 byte Data EEPROM. In addition to the Crystal oscillator, the devices also include an accurate internal high frequency RC Oscillator with a selectable frequency of 4, 8 and 12MHz and an additional low frequency internal 32kHz oscillator. Additional features include 8 LED Driver outputs which can directly drive small pixel count LED panels.
The new HT66F24D / HT66F25D device series include Holtek’s new Timer Modules, which have 5 different operating modes. These include Timer/Counter, Capture, Compare, Single Pulse Output and PWM functions. These new devices also include a high speed 12-bit A/D converter and an integrated voltage reference source.
These new devices come supplied in a range of package types from 16 to 28-pins, which together with the abundant range of flexible hardware internal resources, provide MCU solutions for a huge range of products which include household appliances, personal care, instrument panels, charger etc. To support these new devices, Holtek naturally supplies a full suite of excellent hardware and software development tools including the HT-IDE300 and ICE (In-Circuit-Emulator) which include functions such as trace analysis, breakpoint setting as well as many other functions.
Holtek’s e-WriterPro also provides a means for In-Circuit Programming to allow fast program updating and development. Holtek also offers a range of application guides to ensure developers have their designs up and running in the shortest time possible.
