New R-F type 8-bit MCU Product Release – HT47C06L
06/21/2007
Holtek is pleased to announce the release of its new HT47C06L R-F type MCU device. The device specifications include an operating voltage range of 1.2V~2.2V and includes 1Kx16 of Program Memory, 32x8 bytes of Data Memory, 8 I/O pins, an externally adjustable Low Voltage Detector and a 2-level stack. Regarding packaging the device is supplied in a 44-pin QFP package form.
The HT47C06L has the benefits of low power consumption as well as low voltage operating characteristics. In addition to the internal LCD driver function, which can drive display formats of either 13x3 or 14x2 segments, and an EL backlight driver circuit, an important function is the internal Resistance to Frequency, otherwise known as R to F, converter. By being able to measure an external resistance and using this value for control operations or to display related information, makes the device suitable for use in areas such as single cell battery powered EL backlight display applications, which could include electronic thermometers, temperature controllers, humidity controllers, tyre gauges as well as a host of other electronic control and measuring instruments.
As usual with all of Holtek’s MCU devices, the HT47C06L is fully supported by a comprehensive set of hardware and software tools in the form of the HT-IDE3000 development system. Features such as real time emulation, memory/register modification, hardware execution breakpoints, trace analysis as well as an LCD simulator etc, are all standard features of the system which provide designers with all the tools they need for rapid and efficient product application development and debug.
