Holtek HT83F22 Flash type Recording Voice MCU

Holtek is pleased to announce the release of its new flash type voice recording microcontroller, the HT83F22. The device has both record and play functions, and with its external standard SPI Flash Memory, customers may choose various memory capacity options for different application requirements.

The HT83F22 includes a Holtek 8-bit microcontroller as well as integrated Flash Program Memory, high speed SPI and I2C interfaces, AGC function, 12-bit ADC, a mono 12-bit voltage type DAC and a fully integrated audio amplifier. These features ensure a minimum of required external components. The device also has high noise immunity and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C～+85°C. This new device ensures that users are provided with a range of simple and rapid solutions to their voice product requirements.

With regard to development tools, the HT83F22 is well equipped with Holtek’s EasyPlayTM hardware and software development tools. The inclusion of multiple API and mode play features as well as a Holtek USB writer, ensures that designers are supplied with a full suite of easy to use supporting tools for code and voice programming. This wide range of features ensures the device will have a wide product application range with some possible areas including home security products, healthcare products, household appliances and toys to name but a few.
