Holtek New Release - HT1087 General Purpose LDO Regulators

The HT1087 devices are a series of new Low Dropout Voltage Regulators from Holtek. The devices have an output current specification of 500mA, making them suitable for use in a wide range of product applications, such as PC/NB camera modules, PC peripheral products, low voltage MCUs, DSP etc, devices which require power supply conversion applications. With a guaranteed output voltage tolerance to within 2%, the HT1087 also has the benefits of excellent load and line stability, and has a ripple rejection value of up to 60dB. Internal protection circuitry functions exist for over-current and temperature providing protection for both the system and the IC.

The HT1087, in addition to being supplied in a range of 5 different fixed output voltage types, namely 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V, is also supplied in an adjustable output voltage type. The devices are available in TO92 and SOT89 package types and have a recommended operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. The devices have already entered volume production for which samples are available.
