New VFD Digital Clock Device Range Release -- HT1656X

Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new HT1656X series digital clock device range. Being able to function within a wide operating voltage range of 4V~18V, allows them to directly use automotive power supplies, making them extremely suitable for use in automotive applications as well as a vast range of other product application areas. Additionally, the devices also include extensive functions and require limited external circuitry for application implementation as well as being able to directly drive VFD displays.
The HT1656X series of devices provides a range of choices subdivided according to their panel driving type. One type is the static display type, for which the HT16561 and HT16565 devices can be used. The other type is the 1/2 Duty multiplexed type, for which the HT16562 and HT16566 can be used. They also subdivide according to their time display types, for which the 12-hour control types use the HT16561 and HT16562 devices, while the 24-hour control types use the HT16565 and HT16566 devices. The HT16561 12-houe device also includes an AM/PM indicator.
The Holtek digital clock devices can work in conjunction with Futaba VFD displays. For more details on which device can accompany which VFD type please consult the Holtek website.
