New Holtek device HT82J30A and HT82J31A releases
16-Channel A/D MCU with SPI Interface
03/18/2008
Following on from the previous release of the HT82J30R OTP type microcontroller, Holtek is now delighted to announce the release of a Mask version device, the HT82J30A. In terms of function, characteristics, packaging and pin-outs, this new Mask version device is fully compatible with the HT82J30R. Internal functions include 4K of Program Memory, 216 bytes of Data Memory, an 8-bit timer, 35 I/O pins and 2 SPI interfaces among many others. The inclusion of a Watchdog Timer and Low Voltage Reset functions further enhance the device’s prevention capabilities against erroneous operation.
As the device includes a fully embedded 8-bit 16-channel A/D converter and an 8-bit single channel PWM converter, product designers are removed from the need to add these external components to their products, reducing overall product costs as well as simplifying manufacturing. The dual SPI interfaces provide the means for convenient external communication.
The HT82J31A is Holtek I/O type MCU with SPI Interface. The device includes 4K of Program Memory, 216 bytes of Data Memory, an 8-bit timer, 22 I/O pins and 2 SPI interfaces among many others. As is the case with most Holtek MCUs, the inclusion of fully integrated Watchdog Timer and Low Voltage Reset functions provide the device with the ability to prevent less than perfect external environmental conditions, halting operation of the microcontroller.
The HT82J30R/HT82J30A and HT82J31A are most suitable for use in applications requiring motor driving, industrial control, consumer products, gaming joysticks etc. During the development and early design stage, their comprehensive and complete range of internal functions, give users maximum flexibility providing their developed products maximum competitive advantages in the market place.
