Holtek New HT48R06xG and HT46R06xG MCUs with OPA and Comparator

Holtek is pleased to announce the release of its new HT48R06xG and HT46R06xG device series. Both series contain integrated OPA and Comparator functions. The I/O type HT48R06xG series includes four devices, namely the HT48R064G, HT48R065G, HT48R066G and HT48R0662G. The A/D type HT46R06xG series contains three devices, namely the HT46R064G, HT46R065G and HT46R0662G. This latter A/D type series includes both 12-bit A/D converter and 8-bit PWM functions that can result in extensive peripheral component count reductions, smaller PCB areas and lower product costs, making them very suitable for use in the household appliance application area that have analog signal amplifying and digitizing requirements.
The devices meet with industrial specifications (-40~85℃), and have a 2.2~5.5V operating voltage range and include an internal R-type LCD COM driver, multi-function I/O pins, high speed 12-bit A/D converter, multiple PWM outputs, internal high accuracy RC oscillator, fast wake up function, switchable high/low frequency operating modes and an RTC oscillator function. This comprehensive range of functions come together to offer a new range of highly competitive MCU devices with superior functions, features and pricing. Such flexibility will suit the needs of a wide range of applications especially for household appliances such as hair care products, electric hobs, electric fans, food processors, battery chargers, vacuum cleaners etc. As the appliance market is currently focusing more and more on MCU devices with superior cost/function ratios, this series of devices are well placed to provide excellent MCU solutions to meet the needs of this important application area.
Along with other Holtek 8-bit MCUs, these new devices have high noise immunity and include a watchdog timer and LVR functions to provide maximum protection against erroneous operation. The whole series is supplied in a range of 16~44-pin package types, offering users maximum flexibility.
