HT82K95EE/HT82K95AE USB Keyboard MCU with EEPROM March
6, 2006 Two
new USB keyboard OTP microcontrollers devices, in the form of
the HT82K95EE/
HT82K95AE, have just been released to complement the
already released HT82K95E/HT82K95A
devices, expanding yet further Holtek's PC peripheral device
range. With a host of integrated functions, design
convenience, and competitive pricing, the existence of these
two new devices will provide related PC peripheral vendors
with an even further choice for their products. Holtek, as a
leading domestic competitive company, in providing these
highly stable and compatible devices provides the means for
customers from domestic and overseas regions to design their
products in as quickly a time as possible.
The two new HT82K95EE/
HT82K95AE USB keyboard devices include an internal EEPROM
data memory of 128 bytes capacity and meet the specification
for USB HID 1.1 compatible products. Each device includes 128
bytes of internal EEPROM data memory in addition to 4K X 15 of
Program Memory, 160 bytes of conventional Data Memory and 32
I/O lines. The memory capacity of the devices is well within
the requirements of most related USB products. The devices
would be suitable for use in products such as Boot Device
Keyboards, Mouse products and also suitable for products which
have both PS2 and USB interfaces for which auto-detection is
required. The devices allow the facility for customers to add
their own VID, PID, product strings etc variables, or to
include other special design needs.
