C/R-F MCU New Addition --- HT45R34

In order to expand the application level of the sensor type range of microcontrollers, the new C/R-F type device, the HT45R34, has been added to the range. The integrated C/R-F function is implemented using an internal oscillator circuit and a timer. When the oscillator’s external equivalent resistor or capacitor changes value, the oscillator’s output frequency will consequently change, causing a variation in the timer’s value. With an accompanying channel decoder to implement channel scanning, the HT45R34 device can be used to detect which channel’s condition has changed.
The HT45R34 has a Program Memory capacity of 1Kx14, Data Memory capacity of 88 bytes, up to 8 I/O lines, in addition to an internal 12 channel C/R-F function and 2 pins which can be setup as external interrupt input pins.
The device is suitable for use in the security application, intruder detection, etc. areas. It is also suitable for use in application areas requiring keyboard detection, such as found in today’s large range of household electrical appliances. If it is required to drive logical outputs, such as LEDs or LED matrices, 7-segment displays, keyboards etc, then the I/O lines can be utilised.
With the usual Holtek microcontroller features of high noise immunity, Watchdog Timer and Low Voltage Reset functions, the device is provided with features to reduce the risk of MCU operating malfunctions. The device is supplied in three package types, namely 20-pin, 24-pin and 28-pin SSOP types. The 20-pin SSOP package contains 4 C/R-F channels, the 24 SSOP package contains 8 C/R-F channels while the 28-pin package has 12 C/R-F channels.
