Holtek HT82V42 Single-channel CCD/CIS Analog Signal Processor

As an expansion to its range of Analog Signal Processor devices, Holtek is pleased to announce the release of the HT82V42 device. Using a single 3.3V main power supply this new device will find suitable application in the medium and low speed CIS sensor scanner functional area in products such as photo cards, name cards, ID card scanners and multi-function servers etc.

The HT82V42 uses a single channel structure providing users with a high performance/cost ratio device. With a 16-bit high resolution A/D converter and a 5MSPS conversion rate, the device is suitable for use in a broad area of applications such as document/photo/namecard/ID cards and other document scanners as well as being suitable for use in negative film scanner applications. To meet the needs of different product applications the HT82V42 is available in lead-free pure-tin 20-pin SSOP and TSSOP package types.

With increasing sensor and digital/analog circuit design technology, Holtek, in the scanner application area, has been able to provide a range of high quality devices and fully intends to continue its developments to release devices with high speeds and higher levels of integration to meet the user demands for more competitive solutions.
