HT82J30R – 16-Channel A/D MCU with SPI Interface

The HT82J30R, as one of Holtek’s new generation A/D microcontrollers, contains 4K of OTP Program Memory and 216 bytes of Data Memory, along with a host of features, among which are included a 16-bit timer, an 8-bit timer, 35 Input/Output lines and two SPI interfaces. The inclusion of a Watchdog Timer and a Low Voltage Reset function are also provided to minimise the occurrence of MCU erroneous operations.
The embedded 8-bit 16-channel A/D converter and 8-bit PWM D/A converter when used in control systems, and in reducing the need for external A/D or PWM components, will result in reductions in overall product costs as well as simplifying the production process. The fully integrated dual SPI interfaces will also make simpler the implementation of on-board communication applications.
The OTP version of the device supplies the designer with the flexibility for software updates and modifications during the preliminary stages of product design. After final product verification, the Mask version of the device can be used to reduce costs and provide the customer with increased competitive market advantages.
