Holtek announces release of Audio Power Amplifier with Shutdown - HT82V735

The new released HT82V735 is a low voltage stereo audio power amplifier which features high signal-to-noise ratio and low harmonic distortion. It can deliver a maximum of 330mW output power to an 8Ω load from a 5V power supply. With a lowest operating voltage of 2.4V and excellent audio quality, the device is particularly designed for battery-powered audio products such as CD player, MP3 player, voice toy, etc.

The HT82V735 achieves THD+N distortion levels below 0.01% with a 16Ω load at 120mW output. It can therefore assure very pure audio tone color. Besides, the HT82V735 has a built-in shutdown function. Under power saving mode, quiescent current can be reduced to 1μA. Consequently it can significantly extend the life span of batteries due to ultra low power consumption. The device is available in a small 8-pin SOP package making it especially suitable for portable electronic product applications.
