Holtek Celebrates OHSAS 18001 Certification!

Holtek Semiconductor is pleased to announce its successful accreditation of OHSAS 18001 by the Taiwan branch of TUV Asia Pacific Ltd. As OHSAS 18001 is presently internationally recognised as the superior occupational health and safety management system, this certification is evidence that Holtek's standards, in the implementation of health and safety at work procedures, are fully in line with those of leading international standards.

Holtek Semiconductor fully supports corporate social responsibility, and in this regard wishes to create for its employees an excellent work environment. The protection of its employees health and safety and providing customer confidence in the use of Holtek's products, are objectives to which Holtek retains full commitment. At the beginning of March 2006, Holtek Semiconductor began implementation and promotion of its health and safety at work management system and after almost five months of planning and definition, implementation of OHSAS 18001 was finally realised.

The previous certification of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and now OHSAS 18001, clearly demonstrates the importance Holtek Semiconductor places on quality, environment and occupational health and safety, which will in turn lead to increased customer support and continue to be a cornerstone of leading microcontroller development.
