Holtek Celebrates its IECQ QC080000 HSPM International Accreditation!

Holtek semiconductor is delighted to announce the successful accreditation of IECQ QC080000 on 10th May 2007 for its Hazardous Substance Process Management system.
The European Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, otherwise known as ROHS, came into force on 1st July 2006. Following on from this, the Chinese directive on the reduction of hazardous substances, known as the China RoHS, also came into effect on 1st March 2007. International demands for proper management and limitations on the use of hazardous substances are increasingly obvious. How to respond to international environmental trends, to improve green competitiveness and grasp the global business opportunities involved, has already become a new and important topic for everyday business operations.
Holtek Semiconductor in keeping ahead as an industry leader, with this rigorous third party auditing, has completed approval for its Hazardous Substance Process Management - HSPM system. This process further demonstrates Holtek’s possession of complete green product management system and further exhibits the company’s ability to fully comply with ROHS and its customer’s restricted material demands.
In the future Holtek will resolutely adhere to its hazardous substances management policies and comply with international standards for environmental protection.
