2004 Holtek New Product Presentation Seminar Report This year's Holtek New Product Presentation Seminars have come to an end. The September 30 and October 10 presentations were aimed at Taipei for agents from Europe, Japan, Korea, America, Asia, and Taiwan. The October 25 seminar took place at Shenzhen for the southern China agents and customers. The Shanghai presentation was held for agents and customers from the eastern and northern China, and for those from northern and northeastern China, the fifth seminar was held on November 1 at Beijing. During this year Holtek has released a range of high quality MCU devices such as standard I/O type, VFD type, A/D type as well as A/D with LCD type of MCUs in addition to other embedded MCU types and MTP MCUs. In the future Holtek, in keeping in line with market trends and requirements, will continue to release new MCU devices. Additionally, an introduction was given on Holtek's new UART MCUs, Music/Voice MCUs, Touch Pad ICs as well as other peripheral MCU devices. During the seminars, Holtek's MCU based product strategy, together with its determination to develop and expand their MCU product range was clearly explained. Besides it was also explained how the Holtek's website will be further expanded as a tool for customer and technology service and support. In addition to product introductions in the morning periods, new product applications and technical questions were explained in the afternoon session. With detailed presentations on applications and related peripheral devices, participants were able to obtain a more detailed understanding of Holtek MCUs. The last part of the seminar was a lively Q&A session which also resulted in much feedback regarding new products and service recommendations. Through new product presentation seminars Holtek has gained a further understanding of application market by showing Holtek's product competition and actual contact with agents and customers from each region. The seminars formally came to an end, with Holtek extending its gratitude to all customers and agents who attended from far and continued successes and benefits for all.
