1998 Taitronics Show

One of the major Asian electronic show events of the year is the annual Taitronics show in Taipei.This year the event was again hosted at the usual venue, the Taipei World Trade Center from October 9th to 13th. With over 1,000 electronic companies displaying their products and services, this show stands as the major electronic exhibition in Taiwan and one of the major shows in Asia. As a company with a vast range of semiconductor products, attendance at such events is a necessary part of Holtek's promotional activities
in its endeavor to market its range of products to every corner of the world.

In addition to the usual product promotion, Holtek is also making efforts to promote its image internationally and this year special efforts were made in this respect. From the high number of visitors who visited us at the show and from their positive feedback it was apparent that our extra efforts to present a higher than normal profile of the company had paid off.

Full details on Holtek's ASIC, Communication, Microcontroller, Consumer, Computer and Memory products were available at the stand through an offering of various promotional material. This included our company profile, product profile, product range DM as well as our full product range CD-ROM which contains full details on all of our semiconductor products. To enhance the effectiveness of our presence, and to ensure that both visitors and customers alike received a more satisfactory answer to their enquiries, specialized personnel were on the stand to provide more detailed information.

This year Holtek has developed a series of important products. Some of these include Caller ID controller, Cordless Phone RF Single Chip, 4-level Gray Scale and ECB type LCD controller, new PC peripheral devices, Health Monitor IC, Scanner AFE Controller IC, DSC Chip Set etc. All of these new devices received much attention and interest at the show stand.

The five-day-event was seen as a success by Holtek, measured not only by the large number of enthusiastic visitors who inquired about our products stand but also by the obvious increased way in which Holtek is seen by its customers as a provider of high quality semiconductor products. As an important participant in the global semiconductor business market area, such an image is not just beneficial but essential for the future health of the company.
