Holtek 2001 Microcontroller Product Seminar - Shanghai

With over 100 agents and customers in attendance, on 25th October, in the week following the end of the APEC meeting, Holtek hosted an MCU product seminar at the Jin Jiang Hotel in Shanghai, China.

After formal registration the meeting commenced with a welcoming address from the Holtek (Shanghai) company president Zhou Ping Fang. Holtek's vice president, Lin Zheng Feng, gave a brief presentation on the present status at Holtek Semiconductor as well as providing information on the present market status and future product directions. Representatives from the various MCU, Consumer and Communication device departments in turn presented information on new products from their respective departments. One of the main points of the new product introduction was to use practical examples as a means to introduce and describe the functions of the new MCU devices allowing attendees at the seminar to more readily and easily understand the full features of these key devices. A great interest in these new products was shown by the attendees, which if judging from the time taken to answer the large number of questions raised and discussions with the technical personnel, the seminar was an extremely invigorating event. Finally, Mr. Wang Rui Wen, our Holtek (Shanghai) vice president, gave a presentation on the Chinese Technology Service Centre, giving all a clear insight into the operation and strong points of such a technology service as well as the methods of contact within the China region. The meeting came to a successful resolution at 4:30pm.

In addition to familiarizing attendees with Holtek's designs and new products, such new product announcement seminars provide an excellent forum for Holtek to boost its business image. Attendees leaving the seminar with a positive impression of the Holtek company and its products does much to promote our business in the fast expanding China mainland market region.
