Holtek 2001 Microcontroller Product Seminar - Shenzhen

Attracting around 180 attendees from the region, the 2001 Holtek Microcontroller Product Seminar was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Shenzhen on 22nd October.

After the opening ceremony was conducted by the president of Holtek (Hong Kong) at 9:30am, the meeting proceeded with a detailed introduction to Holtek Semiconductor after which a complete explanation on the standard series of Holtek MCUs was given by the MCU product line manager.

At 2pm the first afternoon session began with an explanation of Holtek's range of Game MCUs, Voice MCUs, Music MCUs and Keyboard/Mouse MCUs and their respective application areas. Following a tea-break the second afternoon session consisted of an introduction to Holtek's range of Communication MCUs, Pager MCUs and Peripheral devices. Finally the last session of the day consisted of an explanation into the support structure of the China region technology and sales support structure.

The product introductions presented throughout the day all ended with a Q&A section, which in every case was met with an extremely enthusiastic response from the seminar attendees, with all questions being answered fully in turn by the Holtek personnel present. At 5pm the meeting drew to a close, with attendees filling out a seminar evaluation form. The results of this feedback indicated much approval of our seminar as well as providing Holtek with many constructive comments which will be used to enhance the content and structure of future similar seminars.
