Holtek launches Industry/Academic Cooperative Venture with the Nan Kai Institute of Technology

With the establishment of a Microcontroller Laboratory and the initiation of related Microcontroller educational sessions at the Nan Kai Institute of Technology, Holtek Semiconductor and the aforementioned Institute are delighted to announce their joint industry/academic cooperative venture.

This joint venture, with the donation of HT46 development systems and HT46 A/D OTP type devices etc. has seen the establishment of the "Holtek Microcontroller Laboratory" at the institute's department of Electronics. Within this venture, Holtek Semiconductor and the Nan Kai Institute of Technology will work together to conduct technology research in addition to the development of Microcontroller application products, joint efforts which will assist in the promotion of Holtek MCU devices.

The Nan Kai Institute of Technology will publish a range of articles on the subject of Holtek Microcontroller applications while at the same time allowing students to become familiar with the workings of Holtek's microcontroller devices. Additionally, the Nan Kai Institute of Technology will design an HT46 development board, which together with the design and building of different projects, will be used by students in their practical study sessions. To complement these activities, Holtek will also assist the institute in the publication of several related books, which will assist and supply microcontroller application developers in both the academic and industrial world, with reference material.
