Tianjin Polytechnic University establishes the Holtek Microcontroller Allied Laboratory

With the joint objectives of, conducting academic research, the development of product applications, the strengthening of student's practical electronic design abilities, the enhancement of the school's teaching capabilities, as well as helping to promote Holtek microcontroller devices, a joint venture between the Tianjin Polytechnic University and Holtek Semiconductor witnessed the formal opening, on the 26th May, of the joint Tianjin Polytechnic University/Holtek Semiconductor Allied Laboratory.

With a total of 30 people, including important personnel from both parties, in attendance at the inaugural ceremony, leaders from both sides expressed their obvious enthusiasm in their opening speeches, while simultaneously expressing their desire to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between both sides.

The opening ceremony was quickly followed by the donation of Holtek development tools to the institute as well as related books and MCU devices, for which the institute's professors expressed their show of gratitude. Finally leaders from both parties initiated a healthy informal discussion consisting of much constructive dialogue regarding the future mode of collaboration and future plans for cooperation. The Tianjin Polytechnic University expressed its gratitude for Holtek's support and assistance in establishing the laboratory, which was reciprocated by a show of Holtek's gratitude.
