Korea 2000 Seminar

With the objective of expanding marketing opportunities in the Korean region, and with the assistance of its Korean agents, Richwood International and Sycom Technology, Holtek on December 13th organised a product seminar.

Under the invitation of Holtek's Korean agents around 90 people attended the seminar which began at 10am. The seminar got underway with a company introduction by Holtek's director Mr. Gordon Gao, who also presented an introduction and overall analysis of the Taiwan semiconductor business area. To strengthen the effectiveness of the seminar, the product introduction section was undertaken by our Korean local agents. Our agent Richwood International began the product introductions with Holtek's PC peripheral devices, taking into account the special needs of Korea's PC peripheral product vendors and with particular emphasis on Holtek's Keyboard/Mouse product solutions. Following on from this, Holtek's microcontroller products were then introduced by Sycom Technology. Owing to the great needs of Korea's vendors for microcontroller devices, the new microcontrollers from Holtek are attracting much attention and are being chosen in the area of quality, specialisation and price. The HI-LO Systems OTP Auto programmer was also demonstrated at the seminar to show that Holtek is not only a provider of microcontroller devices but is also involved in providing solutions for high volume programming production.
