With their flexibility and ease of use, Li-battery-powered cordless vacuum cleaners have become an essential part of home cleaning.
Holtek has released the 8-Bit Flash MCU HT66F018 which can be used for cordless vacuum cleaner product applications. It can implement a vacuum cleaner dual-speed control function as well as setup multiple over-current protection levels simultaneously for functions such as motor stall and short circuits. A specific Li-battery protection IC is also used to implement battery over-charging/discharging protection and over-current protection in addition to battery charging/discharging temperature protection functions.
Holtek provides a complete set of supporting documentation, such as block diagrams, circuit diagrams, PCB files and parts lists etc, to assist users to develop their cordless vacuum cleaner products rapidly and conveniently.
