The expansion of wireless charging for a variety of mobile devices, has provided great improvements to charging convenience in everyday life. Directly aimed at the wireless charger application area, Holtek has a range of ASSP MCUs, which are specifically directed at WPC QI transmitter applications and used for related wireless charger applications.

For frequency control operation, which is a key feature of wireless power transmission, the Holtek wireless charger solutions include a high resolution frequency output, which is used to provide excellent power control output stability. The fully integrated power control current measurement and demodulation circuits simplify greatly any required external circuitry, resulting in lower costs and smaller circuit board areas. Their design offers full PID control functions which are required for the WPC QI standards, meeting all specification requirements.
