New HOLTEK Full Speed USB MCUs - HT82A520R/HT82A620R

Following in the footsteps of its previously released low speed USB interface MCUs, Holtek now wishes to announce the release of two new full speed USB series, the HT82A520R and HT82A620R. By expanding its device range into the full speed USB sector, these two new devices will enhance Holtek’s ability to meet the increasing demands of customers for high performance/price ratio devices in the important USB interface application area.

These two new devices have already achieved full USB-IF Compliance Testing - USB2.0 Report for Full speed Device. Both devices include a 4K x 15 OTP Program Memory capacity, 160 Bytes of Data Memory RAM, 24 I/O pins, an SPI serial interface, three 12-bit PWM functions as well as 16-bit and 8-bit timers. The HT82A620R includes an analog to digital converter, offering 16 A/D channels with a resolution of 12-bits. Both device use either a 12MHz or 6MHz crystal for their system oscillator, and have a 4-Endpoint USB resource. They support the transmission of Control Mode, Interrupt Mode and Bulk Mode separately.

The HT82A520R and HT82A620R devices will find excellent use in applications such as mouse products, joysticks, Game Pads, USB wireless receivers as well as a range of other consumer USB products etc.

With regard to package types, the devices are provided in 20SSOP, 24SSOP, 28SSOP (150mil) and 32QFN package forms, and can be supplied now as customer samples or for volume orders.
