Holtek to Run its Fifth MCU Innovation Competition

Holtek’s fifth MCU Innovation Competition, which is scheduled for November 13th this year, will take place at the Southern Taiwan University in Tainan, with the entries subdivided into the categories of general control, toys, instrumentation, household appliances and automotive control. Registry is open from April 1st to May 31st for participating groups all over Taiwan including technical colleges, universities and senior high schools etc. Holtek will provide prize money in reward as well as providing development tools and ICs totaling up to three million New Taiwan Dollars in value.

To promote participation in the competition, Holtek has organized a series of seminars during April and May at academic institutions through Taiwan. These seminars, in addition to offering a detailed explanation of the competition and the specific microcontrollers that are to be used, will also present development tools to each teacher in attendance.
